By using Gospel Quest you agree to these terms. They are short because the app is free, sells nothing, and asks very little of you.

What this app is

Gospel Quest is practice. You have conversations with AI characters who do not believe, and a coach tells you afterwards what landed and what did not.

It is a training tool, not a source of truth. The characters are generated by a language model. So is the coaching. Both can be wrong, including about scripture, history and doctrine. Check anything that matters against your Bible and your church, not against this app.

**It is not spiritual direction, counselling, or medical or mental-health advice.** If you are in distress, the app will show you real helplines, and you should use them.

Your account

You need an email address. One account per person. Keep your access to that mailbox secure, because that is how signing in works.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and it removes everything. See the Privacy Policy.

What you may not do

• Use it to harass, abuse or impersonate anybody, including through the friends and Bible study features.
• Put another person's private information into it. The screens that involve real people ask for descriptions rather than names, deliberately.
• Try to make the AI produce content that attacks a group of people. The characters are written to argue their position at its strongest and never to mock anyone, and attempts to push past that may end your access.
• Break it, scrape it, or resell it.

What you write

Whatever you type stays yours. You give us permission to process it in order to run the app: to send it to the AI provider so a character can reply, to have it coached, and to show it back to you. Nothing more. We do not use it to train models and we do not publish it.

What we provide, and what we do not promise

The app is free and provided as is. There are three practice conversations a day, which is a cost limit rather than a paywall, and there is nothing to buy. We may change or stop the service. We do not guarantee it will be available, correct, or uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Other people's words

Scripture is the World English Bible, which is public domain. Quotations from other authors are short, attributed excerpts used for comment and teaching.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the app will say so before the change takes effect.
